Windy

Scotland was hit by (predicted) storm force gales on Thursday, it was wild!
165 MPH gusts were recorded on Cairngorm, 105 MPH gusts on the closed Tay Bridge - all major bridges were closed by midday, air, road and rail travel was all disrupted and most folk who could do so got home from work early -:)

A popular extreme sport in these conditions is `Ned Kiteing`...

The Gale has been given its own name,
Just like those American hurricanes we see on the telly,

but in typical Scottish tongue its not quite the usual name...
